Police track down trike that was stolen from autistic girls
Police located an adult-sized trike that was stolen from two autistic teenage girls last week.
The bike had been given to the girls by OHSU personnel as part of a grant that donates to developmentally challenged children. The tricycle was very special to them and was something the family could not afford to buy on their own.
Police say they found the trike in the 8800 block of Southeast Stark after following up on a tip to the media.
The bike was returned to the girls.
