PORTLAND, Ore. - Someone painted their own crosswalk at the corner of Southeast 10th and Ash overnight.

One look at the paint job (complete with footprints inside the lines) and it's clear that the crosswalk didn't come from the city. In fact, the Portland Bureau of Transportation says they certainly do not have a marked crosswalk at that location.

KATU Reporter Valerie Hurst noticed the amateur paint job early Thursday morning and snapped some cell phone video.

Crews from the Portland Bureau of Transportation plan to head out there Friday morning to clear the paint from the sidewalk.

This isn't the first time this has happened in Portland. Back in December of 2009, someone painted a crosswalk at Northeast 8th and Burnside. READ THE STORY
